A Note of Thanks – As Pioneers we are excited to serve our community regardless of whether we are recognized or acknowledged for the things we do to help others.  It is always nice, though, to hear when something we did had a positive impact on those around us.  We received a very nice thank you letter from the C.W. Harris Elementary School administration, staff, students and community stakeholders for the school uniforms we donated at the end of April.  We’ve been told that over 50% of the uniforms have already been disseminated to students in need. Both students and their families have been extremely grateful!

DID YOU KNOW? Supporting your Excelsior Chapter helps to keep communities strong and thriving? DID YOU KNOW? Verizon no longer supports Pioneers after 100 years of doing so. DID YOU KNOW? Our Excelsior Chapter membership dues paid by the active/working members make up a small portion of our organization. The majority of our members are retirees who no longer pay yearly dues.Your dedication and support of our projects do help us get by, but with the growing number of retirees, that will make reaching our goals even harder. We want to continue to help our communities by providing backpacks to local school children, providing food to soup kitchens and food pantries to help feed the hungry, providing meals on wheels to our seniors, helping our military men and women, plus many other community minded programs.In order for us to continue these wonderful projects we need your support! We have started our
